Che Guevara The Motorcycle Diaries best Quotes lines

LOVE empowers us to build Nation :

Asgard is not a place. Never was. Asgard is where our people stand. – Odin, father of Thor (in the movie Thor: Ragnarok)

Understanding “Nation” and building one, takes a lot, not only courage but also profound understanding and LOVE.

Once Sukhdev pulled-leg of Bhagat Singh and quipped that Bhagat Singh has started fearing “Death” because of ‘that girl’. The incident is that one ‘girl’ fell in love with Bhagat Singh and joined him in Freedom Struggle. Bhagat Singh also responded to her with love.

Bhagat Singh also loved Gulab-Jamun a lot, of-course hot Gulab-Jamun.

In his ‘famous’ letter to Sukhdev, Bhagat Singh writes –

“…. Again do I emphasize that I am full of ambition and hope and of full charm of life. But I can renounce all at the time of need, and that is the real sacrifice. These things can never be hindrances in the way of man … whether love ever proved helpful to any man. Yes …”

Che Guevara also loved many things, NOT a piece of land, but its people. Here he writes (Page 153 of his book – The Motorcycle Diaries (link below)) –

… I now knew… I knew that when the great guiding spirit cleaves humanity into two antagonistic halves, I would be with the people. I know this, I see it printed in the night sky that I …

He also fell in love … got married … had children. Here are some beautiful lines from his book – The Motorcycle Diaries (Page No. 63) (link below) –

… I suddenly felt myself flying off with the sailor to far-off lands, far away the current drama of my life. A feeling of profound unease came over me; I felt that I was incapable of feeling anything. I began to feel afraid for myself and started a tearful letter, but I couldn’t write, it was hopeless to try. In the half-light that surrounded us, phantoms swirled around and around but “she” wouldn’t appear. I still believed I loved her until this moment, when I realized I felt nothing.
I had to summon her back with my mind. I had to fight for her, she was mine, mine… I slept. …

Only LOVE empowers us to build Nation … love food, love people around you, fall in love, love profoundly!
