Activity 1 :

Bathroom Activity

(This activity may be customized as per family rituals and customs)

Step 1 – Discuss with the child about waking up and bathing or other morning bathroom routine.

 

Step 2 – (Insert ordinal number in your communication) What we do FIRST, and then what we do, okay … so FIRST we do … this and then SECOND we do … this.

 

Step 3 – Summarise – So when we wake up in the morning, FIRST we do …, SECOND, we do … And THIRD, we do …

(For Grade 1 and Grade 2 children, the ordinal numbers may be increased from First to Tenth (at least).

 

Cross-Curricular connections – Connect your entire discussion with Health and Hygiene. Share the importance of Brushing Teeth, Washing face, Bathing, and drying oneself.

This activity may be extended with a worksheet containing images of Soap, Bath area, Brush, Towel, and other items.
